Northland Staffing Solutions is hiring a TIG Welder/Fabricator for our client located in Newport, MN. Our client creates customized looks and creations with stainless steel or any material for commercial kitchens. They are looking for more employees on 1st shift.
Responsibilities of the Tig Welder:

Fabrication of all commercial food industry products – ranging from cabinets, counters, food, breath guards, etc.

Experience with stainless steel sheet metal.

Analyze plans, drawings, layouts, and work orders to determine work requirements and sequence of sheet metal assignments, as well as the ability to interpret shop drawings, sketches, layouts, and blueprints.
Requirements of the TIG Welder/Fabricator:
- Knowledge of welding techniques to include TIG, MIG, Wire Feed, and Spot.
- Independently work to produce complex sheet metal assemblies.
- Complete understanding of flat metal layout considering growth and bend allowance.
- Complete understanding of press brake forming techniques and brake sequences is preferred.
