Northland Staffing Solutions is hiring a Process Technician II for our client, a growing company based in Bloomington, MN. Great opportunity for advancement!
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Process Technician II Inspects powder metal parts for dimensional accuracy and surface defects by performing the following duties:
- Train Department Personnel on SPC as needed
- Complete Lot inspection and First article inspection as required by customer and/or internal requirements
- Complete Capability studies
- Examine parts for defects; Separate and mark defective part according to re-work operation
- Perform In-process inspections as needed
- Gauge calibration
- Load set-ups for departmental inspection steps
- Complete timecard and other production documentation as required
- Blueprint interpretation and consultation with personnel to assure quality of parts
Qualifications:
- Must be able to accurately measure parts using various inspection equipment and equipment.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Basic Computer skills/ISO knowledge
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 3 years inspection experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 – $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
