Responsibilities of the Printing Press Operator:

• Examine job tickets to define quantity, stock specifications, colors, and any special printing instructions.
• Make ready to proof and customer specs.
• Properly inspect product throughout press run to ensure quality printing, print clarity, color accuracy, ticket specifications.
• Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled.
• Load, position, and adjust paper into equipment feeding mechanisms.
• Troubleshooting equipment as needed.
• Maintain proper ink and water levels of press.
• Check, set, and change rollers as necessary.
• Assist supervisors in documentation and improvement procedures through creative thinking.
• Facilitate teamwork among team members and between shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Follow all safety and workplace policies.

• Associate or trade school degree is preferred
• Ability to lift/move 50+ pounds repeatedly.
• Walking, sitting, bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting may be required throughout the workday.
