Northland Staffing Solutions is hiring a skilled Maintenance Technician for our client based in the Twin Cities Metro Area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing housing facilities throughout the Twin Cities. Prefer five plus years of handyman experience, light HVAC and electrical skills, drywall repairs, plumbing and carpentry experience requested.
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician:
- Perform routine maintenance on apartments
- Troubleshoot electrical and plumbing issues
- Represent the client for inspections and rental licensing with the State of MN
- Educating tenants on maintenance topics, to help company achieve maintenance and cost savings goals
- Conduct residential painting tasks
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)

Requirements of the Maintenance Technician:
- Lead Based Paint remediation
- Access to vendors and vendor groups in Minnesota
- Strong leadership skills to supervise maintenance tasks effectively
- Ability to problem solve and work independently
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Reliable transportation
- Fluency in English for effective communication
- Experience in residential painting, plumbing, drywall repair, electrical and carpentry is a must
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 40 per week
